These stories aren’t true - we’re making them up, so
When we’re hurt through life, we do not always seek the support that will help heal.
In my case, it’s because I was scared of facing the past, scared the damage
I just heard a stunning definition of trauma from Dr Gabor Mate - it’s not the event itself that is trauma, but the psychic wound.
The event can’t be changed, but
